My name is Ketan. I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. I am a Chartered Accountant and hold an Australian Private Pilot License. I have led somewhat of a privileged life, full of peace and happiness. I've been fortunate to have traveled to many countries around the world. Many of the opportunities I have had are a direct result of the freedoms and liberties that have been afforded to me.
Unfortunately, these freedoms and liberties are under severe threat.
Here are some of my beliefs and what I stand for.
In the pursuit of happiness, everyone who wants to earn an income should be allowed to, irrespective of whether there is a virus, plague or any other danger. It should be up to individual to make this choice. A government should not stop a person from earning an income.
An individual should not be coerced into taking a vaccine, nor should a government make a vaccine mandatory. The individual should decide what is and isn't injected into their body and accept the consequences of those actions or inactions.
A government should not forcibly take away the property of individuals. Bitcoin is an extension of strong property rights. It allows for money that makes it difficult for others to seize, censor or inflate. It is the best form of money created. I believe in the free flow of money.
I believe it is immoral to forcibly extract money from someone, even if it is for "the greater good". I believe in the dismantling of all forms of government in its entirety and replacing it with private enterprise to which you can hire and fire. I accept that as of today, the overwhelming majority of people have not come to this conclusion and likely never will in my lifetime. I believe in less government, not more.
Not because you have something to hide, but because you have something to protect. Individuals should be afforded the ability selectively reveal information about themselves. I do not agree with corporate and government surveillance of individuals.
Free and open source software allows you to view the code, edit it, improve upon it and distribute it to others without restrictions. It allows us to build upon technology and keep accountability.
I do not believe in lockdowns and restricting people's movement. Keeping people in cages is not how society flourishes. I believe individuals prosper from having the freedom to make their own decisions and accept the consequences of those decisions.
